 SWFL Home Inspection and Services

Services - we inspect Single family residential homes, town houses, villas and condominiums...

Full Home Inspection  & Reinspection - Home inspections are intended to provide you with information regarding the overall condition of installed systems and components of the home based on visible observation at the time of the home inspection. A home inspection does not include the prediction of future conditions. A full home inspection consists of two parts, a visual inspection of the exterior and interior of the home. A fully certified, licensed and insured inspector will meet you at the inspection site and walk the property with you. Inspections can be done without you but we encourage you to be present so you can see any problems that the inspector points out or ask any questions. This will make you may feel more confident in making the right decisions in your investment.

4-Point Inspection -  A Four Point Inspection may be required before an insurance policy is issued. It focuses only on the four most common elements of a home that may have worn out over decades of service or that may need to be updated or replaced because their failure could lead to significant damage to your home.
The inspection is completed by a qualified home inspector, building code inspector, or professional engineer.

We will inspect these four  components:

  • Heating & Air Conditioning
  • Electrical Wiring & Panels
  • Plumbing Connections & Fixtures;
  • Roof

Radon - Radon is a colorless, odorless radioactive gas that may be harmful to humans. The amount of radon in the air is measured in picocuries of radon gas per liter of air, or “pCi/L.” While any radon exposure creates some risk to health, a level of 4 pCi/L or higher is generally considered dangerous by the EPA, which recommends that remedial measures be taken to reduce or eliminate radon from the home/building.STATISTICS

Wind Mitigation - Wind mitigation inspection is an insurance examination done by a certified inspector on whether a building or home has features that lower the amount of damage suffered from winds during a storm. This encourages the implementation of certain construction techniques and renovations in order to limit damage from high winds.
